Turns out, the middle bit of building a business is less “scaling with confidence” and more “juggling paid work, forgetting lunch, and doomscrolling LinkedIn in your dressing gown.” Rewired is still growing—slowly, messily, and with the occasional crisis of confidence—but it’s real, and it matters. Starting a business is a wild mix of excitement, panic, and Googling things you never thought you’d need to know. One month into Rewired, I’ve learned that running a business mostly means wrangling admin, second-guessing pricing, and having deep philosophical conversations with ChatGPT (my most loyal coworker). But despite the chaos, it’s exactly where I want to be.
